How do you take primrose oil...?

How do you take Evening primrose oil to help make your cervix more favorable at delivery? I am 37 weeks and want to help my body move along so my dr will induce at 39 weeks like she said. She said she would only induce if my cervix is favorable. I have been having contractions for a week that haven't done anything. Last night i went in to the hospital thinking this was it and it wasn't cause my cervix hasn't changed it's 1cm and 50% effaced. I want to get this over with.. not so much make the baby come out faster just sick of regular contractions and they can't stop them cause i'm to close to my due date. So please tell me how to take the evening primerose oil to help my cervix become more favorable for delivery. THANKS

I actually researched this not too long ago because I am 39 weeks 80% effaced and at 1cm (have been for 2 weeks) I read that when taking the capsules insert into the vagina1-2 at night before you go to bed and your body heat will dissolve them before you wake up to go to the rest room. Once you are past 36 weeks you can take up to 4 a day. Let me know how it works! I'm scared!
Reply:hey i wanted to say thank you for answering my question abt the contractions. i couldnt send you a email or IM because you have all that blocked on your profile. but when are you due? im due jan 8th. well at least your dilated to 1cm and as of last week i wasnt anything but my cervix was 70% effeced so i guess that a plus... well congrats to you... you should email me at missdeenamarie@yahoo.com we can be due date buddies... or you can IM me. but you can use evening primrose oil either vaginally or oral or both it doesnt insuce labor it just softens your cervix.
Reply:idk if they come in pills or liquid but either way if they come in the pill form break it open and place the liquid in to your vagina and it will soften your cervix same if it comes in liquid good luck
