Acne breakout at 19 years old?

what are the causes usually to have a sudden acne break out at the age of 19? i never have serious acne break out before in my childhood life, usually just one or two pimples. does it means now i have inbalance hormone or wat??? PLS tell me...... plus does evening primrose oil and cat's claw really helps clear acne

Yes, I was the same...pretty good skin always, but breakouts in my late teens early 20s. Stress, sleep habits, diet, hormones, menstrual cycle, the weather, it all can cause breakouts. Yeah, I remember thinking once I turned 20...no more acne yay! Nope!! I was wrong. still every menstrual cycle i break out and i'm about 30! geez, does it ever stop? :P
Reply:You may not believe this but I promise you it works, wipe your face with cider vinegar just before you go to bed. It stinks but your spots will be hardly noticable in a wk to 2 wks.

It could very well be hormones most likely, but if you are very concerned go to your doctor and he can put you on prescription medication for acne eg. roaccutane is very popular and effective but at the same time can have bad side effects - speak 2 ur doctor, they know best
