Reply:Ok, basically the reason why your mood is up %26amp; down is because you have an imbalance in your seratonin level, which is the chemical that regulated your mood, you brain is unable to produce enough of it. Thats where anti-depressants come in, they regulate these levels %26amp; therefore lift your mood. there is no chame in taking them at all, i have been on anti depressants for a few years now %26amp; they have done me the world of good. i attempted suicide as i hit rock bottom, please dont let yourself get that low. Go to your GP, he/she will be able to help you. Once you understand the illness more you will be able to recognise the signs yourself %26amp; deal with it correctly. In the meantime try %26amp; write down ur feelings, god or bad, its just a way of releasing them.
Reply:It's sounds like you might be bipolar, or manic/depressive. A doctor might be able to help, but so many of the anti-depressant drugs have been linked to suicidal thoughts, so I don't think they are of much actual help.
Have you tried a combination of frankincense and peace and calming essential oils? They even out the emotional swings. You just have to inhale the vapors from the oils about three times a day. The esssential oils are available from youngliving.com.
Remember that friends are the family that we choose for ourselves, so start building your family, one friend at a time. Befriend someone who could use your help. When we focus on how we can be of service to others, we stop focusing on our problems and our perceived misery.
Reply:Seek counseling to sort out your problems.
Reply:hi hun.
the evening primrose will take a little time to build up in your system - so if you have only taken it for a few days you need to give it a few weeks at least for the effects to kick in.
do you know why you are feeling down? is there a reason for these mood swings? over tired, bored, lonely, drinking alcohol, taking drugs....???
if so you can change some of these things.
i think it is a good idea to see your doctor - i am not a massive advocate of pill popping ... but sometimes the chemicals are out of balance and need a little help....you may also have a great doctor who will give you other support, weekly visits with the nurse %26amp; maybe some alternative therapies ... massage etc....
lots of luck... and remember even on the "black" days the sun will shine again.

Reply:yeah seeing a doc would be the best idea, this could be something minor but it could be somthing major, depression can hender ur life so find out whats wrong so u can start living to the fullest again
Reply:Where are you from? What makes you depressed?
How old are you? What makes you think there is a hormonal imbalance? Is it PMS?
There are so many questions to be answered before we can narrow down to your treatment.
However, first, try Rescue Remedy mother tincture, 2 drops on the tongue, twice a day. Hope this helps.
You may go to the docs and find out what is actually wrong with you.
Reply:You NEED to go to a mental health center and get an 'evaluation' done. You are not 'depressed' all of the time, and some of the time you say that you are 'happy' but for no 'good reason' ... which tells me that you may have 'mild' bi-polar syndrome. That is a 'physical' problem, not a 'mental' one, really, and can be 'easily treated' with medication ... usually Lithium or occasionally other drugs are used. If you 'can't afford' to go, go anyway ... tell the people there that you 'can't pay' and they'll give you the forms and even help you fill them out so that you can get 'assistance' with the payments and you can GET BETTER.
Reply:i can understand how you feel, i was worst before.
i had isolate myself for few years and i only go out when i really have no choice otherwise i will locked myself at home,i stay alone too!
there's was a stage i can't stop crying and not interested in anything but after some advice from some internet fren i went to see a doctor and they prescribe me with some anti depressant, initally i was skeptical but amazingly after about 3mths i stop tearing.
for me i stop the medicine without informing the doctor and there's some problem that i know that no one can help so... i didn't go to the psychiatrist i guess if i were to go perhaps i might feel better but is really hard for me to talk about my problem so ....
i still isolate myself but at least i stop tearing.
don't buy any anti-depressant OTC because like what the other lady was saying it might cause suicidal thoughts.
i do have suicidal thoughts and the 1st 2 medicine that i tried make me worst. according to the doctor for anti-depressant is like trial and error we have to try till the right type of medicine that suit us. that's why taking anti-depressant have to be monitor by doctor and if you have suicidal thoughts, stop taking and inform your doctor.
anyway, go to the doctor, in my experience, the medicine works. no harm trying.
hope this help and all the best to you!
