How long after you lost ur plug did u deliver?

im 34 weeks and i have been taking evening primrose oil in strong doses for a week now...my doctor recomended them to help my cervix prepare for labor...my family has a history of not dilating threw very long labors that eventually end in c-sections...anyways...today i lost my mucus plug..it couldnt have been anything else it was exsactly what it sounds like...but there was no blood in it? and i was always told that it should be streaked with blood?...how long after u lost ur plug were ur children born...?

My sister lost hers 2 weeks before she went into labor.....Also another thing to help your body prepare for labor is Red Raspberry Leaf Tea. I used it with my last child and I dilated very fast and pretty painless.
Reply:i have for kids and all were at a dif time but on average it was 2 weeks b4 i had them
Reply:Could be an hour later, or a week later. Depends on your body, and your baby. In my case, it didn't spark hard labor. I ended up with c-sections anyway.
Reply:i lost mine at 8 in the morning and delivered my daughter at 1:30 am the next day. everyone is different though, it could be a few days. good luck!!
Reply:just to let you know at 34 weeks you are pre term and most doctor WILL TRY MEDS to stop labor at this stage. I was 36 weeks last week i was put in the hospital on i.v's and meds for 24 hours for pre term labor my doctor tries to stop ANY LABOR before 37 weeks. I am now 37 weeks my doctor Say's anything that happens now will be allowed and called FULL TERM pregnancy. So i know your doctor is not ENCOURAGING you to have a pre term baby it's proven the lungs are still immature your baby at 34 weeks would need special care if born.
