Evening Primrose Oil help?
you and your baby need the nine months for a reason. I have two kids and remembered wanting to speed my pregnancies but i didn't and they came out all perfect. Just take it slow and sleep all you can cause once baby is here you wont even know what sleep is anymore. congrats on the new baby
Reply:i know that being preggo seems to take forever and feels like an entirnity but just let nature run its course you dont want to have that baby come to fast cause once it does and that babys here itll feel like you just got pregnant yesterday, i hope you get what i am saying just take your time and like the first girl said use this time to sleep cuz once that babies here your gonna say what the hell is sleep cuz you wont be getting none for a long time my son is 2 now and i still dont know what the hell sleep is good luck and congrats
Reply:Well, i just went to the doctor on Wednesday and was 37 weeks exactly on that day. She told me to take the 500 mg pills, 1 pill 3 times per day. Then, at night, she told me to insert two into the vagina. She did not say that this was to induce labor or anything like that, only to help soften the cervix to prepare it for effacing and dilating. Good luck!
Reply:First and foremost it is to taken no earlier than 37 weeks and with doctors approval (there may be a reason why you shouldn't take it during this pregnancy). And despite common misconception it DOES NOT INDUCE LABOR. Until the baby is ready no method of "natural induction" will work and in fact some are extremely dangerous, i.e. Castor Oil can cause dehydration which can send the baby into distress with no delivery. I did alot of research with my daughter (she's almost 5 months) because she was laying totally vertical and was already at 8 lb by 37 weeks and couldn't eat, sleep or breathe. What I found scared me.

EPO is used to help soften the cervix to allow for easier dialation once labor has begun. I took with both of my children and I think it did help. Like I said check with your doctor first but the instruction I was given was start at one capsel (usually 500 mg) for seven to ten days, after that move to two capsels for another seven to ten days, if you still haven't delivered you can increase to three capsels.
