Have u used evening primrose oil?
This might be TMI, but my midwife recommended using 2 evening primrose capsules as a pessary every evening. Just snip the tops off the capsules and insert them as high as possible into your vagina. They help to ripen your cervix as evening primrose contains the same protein as semen. Also it helps you to stretch down below!!!!
Reply:Yes and it's wicked. Head and shoulders above the other oil's available.
Reply:No, don't use it. You will grow excessive hair wherever you put it on you body. I look like a werewolf. I am sooo saddd. Help me
Reply:Yeah but I'm not an addict!
Reply:I have used it in the past but not while pregnant. Why are you taking it? It does effect female hormones. I really wouldn't take it while pregnant. This site says don't take it while pregnant:

It could be helpful if you get mastalga when you are nursing.

Good luck and please try to find something

else for whatever you were going to take

Reply:I never used it while pregnant as it says on the tub to consult a doctor first, so do that to make sure it's ok x

Reply:iv taken primrose as part of a vitamin supplement and honestly i dont know what its benefits are..

do you know, please tell me because I'm quite interested
Reply:evening primrose oil is a natural sheath coat lining for the nervous system, and can help (anecdotal) with PMS as an antiprostiglanden. why do you feel the need to take it now? I do not think you should add anything to your diet without talking to you ob first. are you worried about high blood pressure at the end of the pregnancy? watching salt intake and your weight may be as, or more effective....please check out this site for further info. (if it doesn't take you there, just go the the mayo clinic site and put in evening primrose, or google it.
Reply:It is said to be good for hormonal balance as well as for your hair and skin. It is said to bring relief to Women that may be suffering with PMT and breast soreness.
Reply:It's great for hair and skin. Human and animal. I always gave it to my birds. Gave a lovely sheen to the feathers. It'll do you good
Reply:nice with vodka.... xx
