I do not want websites, I am interested in different oils such as Primrose Oil, Fish Oil, etc. and there effects? Any others supplements?
What are the best natural supplements to take to help with PMS symptoms?
Natural progesterone (identical to what your body produces) is available in creams that you apply to the skin and can be very helpful in preventing or reducing PMS symptoms. You use it during the second part of the menstrual cycle (after ovulation). I know you were asking about supplements you can take, but progesterone absorbed through the skin is very effective as well as safe. There are numerous websites that discuss it in detail. Just do a google search on "natural progesterone."
Reply:Chocolate.. and lots of it
:)
Reply:The following all natural supplements are very effective.
GLA Complex: regains hormonal imbalance by minimizing fluctuations due to nutrient deficiency
B Complex: helps regain hormonal imbalance; reduces stress; reduces water retention
OsteoMatrix: reduces cramps; reduces insomnia; natural muscle relaxant
Hope this is helpful.
Reply:Take Vitamin E supplements. Easy as pie and it makes a big difference. I swear by it, and by Estroven, although I take the "house brand" here in Michigan. Estroven contains natural soy phytoestrogens and black cohosh. It's better for women who are perimenopausal because the black cohosh helps with hot flashes, but I don't see why someone younger couldn't take it, barring a soy allergy. I take it three weeks out of the month. Theoretically you could take it all the time, but I like to give my body a break the way it would all on its' own.
