How looooooooong will it take ??Please Aswer.....................?

Hi friends

I m 29 old f ttc. I have regular cycle of 27-28 days.I have been trying to conceive since last 2 months.I also taking 1000 mg of evening primrose oil daily along with materna capsules.I have been on any birth control pills,we just used condoms.We try on 11th ,13th and 15th day of my cycle.Moreover I lye down after bd with my hips raised with the pillows and tried rear entry positions too.So can u please tell me where I am going wrong?

I dont wanna miss my chance this time.

first of all Im sorry it has not happened as soon as you wanted it to. I know that although you have not been trying very long (2 months) for someone who wants a child so badly it can feel like 2 years so dont listen to those that say "you just started". A healthy couple in their prime only have about a 25% chance of getting pregnant each month...why? I have no idea thats just the percentage. If you do the math then by month 4 MAX if everything else is in your favor you probably will concieve. In average most couple concieve within a year of ttc. I know it sounds like a long time but good things take time...weather it be 2 months or 2 years. No matter how long it takes you once you see your little one healthy in your arms it will be worth the wait. Just remember that things dont always turn out they way you think or want them to despite planning. I learned that the hard way. My husband and I wanted to get pregnant on a certain date so that our baby would be born on his birthday. Well our timing was perfect and my estimated due date was 1 day off which is pretty dang close. Unfortunatley nature had other plans and we found out our baby had anencephaly and she was stillborn at 5 1/2 months. so our planning was all in vein. There are some things you cannot see in the future or prevent...just do what you can and God will bless you. Good luck. Ill be praying for you....sending you *****baby dust****

Reply:Two months?? Relax honey it took my husband and I four months to concieve. It happens when it happens, or when it is meant to be. You are doing some of the things we did, like the positions and staying put after sex with a pillow under my butt. Just relax let nature take its course
Reply:You have only been trying for two months. It takes some couples years! It takes other couples years + fertility help. After two month it is unlikely a doctor would step in to try. They usually require you try for a year on your own first.



Buy some home ovulation kits and use those. Just because most people ovulate at a certain time doesn't mean your body plans to. When it is time, god will give you a child.
Reply:you can get an ovulation test as well, it comes with 7-20 tests and it will tell you when your most fertile 2 days are, also try every other day for like 2 weeks, starting the 9th just to be sure,even though your period is like clockwork, your ovulation might not be
Reply:Has he had his sperm tested. Could be shooting blanks and it is all for fun.



There is no clear timeframe because it is all in Gods hands.

Reply:On average, it takes 6 months to a year for a healthy, fertile couple to conceive. I know it's hard, but try and be patient. Worry more about making love than making a baby. Stress can affect fertility. Good luck!!
