Has anyone bought clomid on-line and how did you go about it??
I understand that you did your research and you just want to get to trying immediately, but I have to tell you that ordering this on-line does not guarantee that you will receive it from a reputable pharmacy and there are risks involved whenever taking any meds that trick your hormones.

I will help you to know how you should take the drug if you do go ahead and order it, but I do not think it is wise and 2 months will go very quickly this time of year with the holidays approaching.

Not only are there side effects that you may have while on the drug, but researchers believe that prolonged use of the drug more than 6 cycles could put you at risk for ovarian and cervical cancers in the future. I just watched my grandmother and a 2 yr old dog suffer from cancer and I think I'd wait for my Dr whenever there is an increased risk of cancer from prescription drug use. There are so many cancers that we don't know what causes them and here researchers are telling the risk from studies they have done.

I did need to use Clomid and if you need it, you need it, but I just ask you to use caution when self medicating.

I wish you the best of luck and will offer my best advice to help you conceive, but I would feel terrible if I lied to you about my feelings regarding Clomid.

That said, while you are waiting for the Dr to prescribe it.. try this herbal supplement and try to conceive as follows:

www.fertilityblend1.com for the herbal supplement Fertility Blend.. it worked for my sister in law when she was uncomfortable with taking Clomid. There is a men's formula as well and you will not need a prenatal until you become pregnant because it is loaded with folic acid.

Try every other day between days 9-22 of your cycle. Ask your partner to abstain from ANY ejaculation on the day off from sex to increase his sperm count. Lay still for at least 10-15 minutes after sex. And do not allow yourself to get too hung on the ovulation day.. you should be having sex before and during ovulation to maximize your chances of conception.

Charting and trying to interpret OPK's can sometimes be confusing and lead you to miss ovulation so lots of sex is the best way to ensure that you will be depositing enough sperm in time for the egg drop. Sperm can also live in your body anywhere from 3 days to 1 week depending on the conditions in your body so having sex often will keep the sperm fresh and make sure it is there.

Please try this for the 2 months without the Clomid.. I wish you lots of luck with your TTC..Baby dust to you!
Reply:I would strongly advise you against taking Clomid without being under the supervision of a doctor. You can get cysts on your ovaries from Clomid, and should be checked by a doctor when you take the medication. just wait the two months and get a prescription from your doctor. I know it is hard to wait, but I'm sure your doctor has good reason to hold off a couple of months.

Best of luck!!!!
Reply:No, but I would not recommend it ever!!!!!!! When you order online you never know what you are going to get. The sender may send you something totally different and it may cause you to have an allergic reaction or it may even be fatal. Go to your obgyn and explain to him or her your medical history and let them help you decide if clomid is right for you. If money is an issue then maybe they have a sliding scale where they can work out a discount or payment plan, they may even be able to help you obtain insurance coverage or know a fertility specialist who does pro bono work (FREE!)
Reply:I would not suggest going through with what you are trying to do. It could be very dangerous. There is a reason the doctor doesn't want to give it to you right now, and i would follow his advice. What if you were to get pregnant in the next two months and you put your body through omething it didn't even need to go through. I hope that no one gives you an answer to this for your sake.
Reply:Clomid is a drug that needs to be supervised while taken.

You can't just take it and hope for the best that cycle.

You have to have ultrasounds to check your folicles and bloodwork while your on it. Just suck it up and wait the 2 months and do it the safe way.

You don't know what your getting when you order stuff online without an RX so you could do more harm than good to yourself and your chances of conceiving.
Reply:It is illegal to buy any type of fertility medication online without a prescription. You can be prosecuted if caught. Your doctor is a doctor for a reason. Listen to him/her. You could really harm your chances of conceiving. There are a ton of side effects from Clomid and you could overstimulate and cause cysts on your ovaries if you take a dose that is not appropriate for you. Just wait the two months. I had been ttc for 1 year before my doctor decided to try Clomid. By the way it is not a miracle drug. There are alot of woman who have taken it and not conceived. Just do what your doctor feels is right. Best of luck ttc and many prayers for you.
Reply:Hmmm..even if you do find it somewhere, probably not a good idea to self medicate for more than one reason. First, and most worrisome is that you never know where it came from if it's not on a prescription..it could just be sugar pills (or worse) for all you know. Second, I wouldn't mess with somthing where dosage needs to be carefully monitored and adjusted depending your unique situation. Don't put your health in jeoporady like that, it's soooooo not worth it!! If your gp isn't taking action like you want, that's understandable..but should probably hear them out. Go get a second opionion or see a fertility specialist who may be able to better diagnose.
Reply:How many capsules of Vitex are you taking? I'm taking 4 a day. Has it changed anything for you and how long have you been taking it? I don't think you can buy Clomid online, I looked!
