Clearblue Monitor and Fertility blend?

Hi everyone.

I use the clearblue easy fertiliy monitor. This month I decided to try Evening Primrose Oil and Fertility blend. Well, my monitor started asking for test sticks on cd 9...the very first day I got a high reading, but a very negative opk. Could the fertility blend or EPO be interfering with my monitor? Even if it gives more high readings than normal, it should still find my peak right? Any thoughts or experience is appreciated.

The OPKs pick up LH surges. When your monitor says "high" that is from an estrogen surge that you get a few days before your LH surge. So you are on track. I don't think the Fertility Blen is messing up anything. I used the monitor and there were a couple of months that I had 6 high days. You should get your LH in a few days. But you are still fertile right now so get busy! = ) Good luck!
Reply:Taking supplements can and probably will effect your hormone levels, which in turn effect the readings you get.

Typically I advise people to never start more than one supplement at a time. and to never start them once your cycle has already started. I usually tell people to start them during their menses.
