Are my cramps caused by taking EPO (evening primrose oil)? Or......??

I'm on CD38 now.. no AF in sight. Just really sore/heavy boobies and cramps. Been having those sore boobies and cramps for almost 2 weeks.

I was checking up on EPO on YahooAnswers and read that EPO is usually used during late pregnancy to induce pregnancy and should be avoided during early pregnancy.

I am very worried now as i started taking EPO about 3 weeks ago. Would the be cramps be caused by that (that is if im indeed preg)??

I have pretty intense cramps which comes and goes.. nothing unbearable and some light cramps. I got them not every single day. For eg...

Mon: intense (so sure AF will come cos i always get such cramps 1 day before AF or on the day itself)

Tue: light..

Wed: intense

and so forth........

It's been like this for almost 2 weeks.

Tested BFN on CD35 :(

I was 2 weeks late last cycle.

OB said it might be delayed ovulation.

So what do you think??

EPO.. which means miscarriage?!!!

or Implantation?

or PMS?

Are my cramps caused by taking EPO (evening primrose oil)? Or......??
I'm going with PMS as I've had the exact thing happen to me and hadn't been taking the EPO at that time. I'd stop taking it until your period normalizes, and start taking Vitex or Fertilaid which contains Vitex to help get you back on track. Of course continue working with your Dr as well.

When you are back on track just take the EPO from day 1 until ovulation and then stop.

Best of luck to you and take care!!

This is a good source to read about EPO.

I read it myself and take it. Good luck to you. :)

read ( just 1 good egg) her answer is a good one.

EPO has anti-inflammatory properties, and I think it would help relieve the cramps you feel, unless it was implantation, BUT, NO otc (over the counter) pain reliever is 100% to everyone.

Hope this helped.
