Does eczema/psoriasis benefit from Vitamin C and Vitamin A supplements?

I am taking a combination of evening primrose, flaxseed oil, vitamin A and vitamin C capsules...

Does eczema/psoriasis benefit from Vitamin C and Vitamin A supplements?
What you are taking is a good combination. You need to take high doses (over 5g) of evening primrose and flaxseed oil for them to be beneficial. Get the liquid form if you can. Vitamin C and A are good. Try to get a non-acidic vitamin C. Do not take more than 2g since high doses have been found to be connected to kidney problems. Do not overdose on vitamin A either - not good for the liver.

Also consider taking Vitamin B complex and magnesium. They can relieve stress, especially if the eczema/psoriasis is stressful for you. Those supplements have helped me a lot thus far.

Vitamin E can be helpful topically, but can cause more inflammation for some eczema sufferers when taken internally.

Consider drinking one teaspoon of apple cider vinegar (raw and unfiltered) with water once a day. It may help.
Reply:I've always been under the assumption that Vitamin E is good for the skin...
Reply:The source below discusses both skin care problems.
