I suffer from horrible mood swings and anxiety and weight gain 9 days before my cycle begins up till a couple days into my cycle. I have tried evening primrose oil and estroven, estroven made me feel very weird. Primrose oil did nothing. I eat right and work out as well. I am not down with taking an antidepressant, does anyone know of something that actually does work?
Anyone know of PMS relief that really worked for them?
Have you tried using all-natural progesterone? I use it 2 weeks a month and the only PMS symptom I feel is nervousness (but I feel that often anyway.) And for maybe 1 day I feel grumpy, but that's about it.
You can get the progesterone at most good drug stores like Walgreens. They make it specially for PMS
Reply:There are other factors that need clarification. What do you mean by eating ritght? How much do you weigh? These can affect your hormone levels, especially if you eat meat. For a remedy that really works, drink a tea made from red raspberry leaves, it will help ballance your hormones and relieve any cramping that you may have. Adding tofu to your diet will also help to regulate your hormones, but at the same time eliminate animal products which do have added hormones that can iteract with your body.
