Can PMS be trated with any alternative/non-alternative medicine?

IS there any cure or relief for PMS? I've been taking Evening Primrose oil, practice yoga and meditation , but still get irritable, angry, sad, all at the same time.

Can PMS be trated with any alternative/non-alternative medicine?

Reply:You can get on the birthcontrol pill, if you are already on it, if you want to avoid PMS and your period in one shot, just take the first 3 weeks of the pill and then start a new pack. You should try to have at least 4 periods a year though.
Reply:im goin through the same thing right now. im so depressed and just want to eat junk food, but i wont let myself and it pisses me off even more. i think your supposed to watch your salt intake and drink plenty of water dont drink booze and get plenty of sleep
Reply:the best way to treat it is prevent it. Taking vitamins and a good excersise ritual really helps ask my 5 sisters they made me take the walks and vitamins with them and they never had PMS. My grandma passed down an elixir but I'm sure it had alcohol in it lol
Reply:if you like herbal teas try chamomile tea (manzanilla)it helps the cramping and it also works as a relaxer....it helps me alot
Reply:Mild PMS can be treated by avoiding caffeinne, exercising and taking things like ibuprofin or midol. Severe PMS is treated with prozac. It helped me a lot! But be careful, Prozac makes some people suicidal.
Reply:Progesterone and Estrogen. Phytoestrogens ext. Progesterone cream and herbs such as Evening Primrose Oil, Vitex, and Black Cohosh. Many more but thats a start for you.
Reply:It Depends on What kind of PMS you are having.
