Has anyone using clomid, that has experienced 'hostile cervical mucus' suceeded in concieving?

I am taking clomid and find that I don't produce the fertile CM. I have tried 'evening primrose oil' and Robotussin, only the 'evening primrose oil seemed to help but not much. My question is has anyone using clomid suceeded in getting pregnant eventhough they didn't seem to be producing the right CM?

I ask this samw question yesterday because I take clomid and had hosticle cm, all four came back saying to add pre seed because its sperm friendly, good luck toy ou and hope you do conceive with hosticle cm, most ladies conceive without having any so there might be a chance
Reply:I have taken Clomid but do not have the hosital CM problem. Have you spoken to your doctor about possibly doing an IUI? That way, the sperm are put right into your uterus (if I'm not mistaken) bypassing the CM alltogether.

Reply:I am on my second round of clomid. I tried robitussion and it did nothing. This month I used preseed and loved it. I am 9 DPO and haven't tested. In addition, you can use real egg whites. I find this has been successful and safe for many women who take clomid and have a lack of cm. Good luck.

Reply:This may seem terribly simple but make sure you are very well hydrated...lots and lots of water in the day helps CM. Also, make sure that your Robitussin is Guaifenesin only and not DM or anything else. You need only the decongestant (you can try mucinex too...pills are much nicer than that nasty tasting stuff).
