Did you use eveing primrose or raspberry leaf tea



Did you use either one or both ?

How dilated were you at 37 weeks pregnant and ....?
With our son- I was not dilated at all.

With our daughter- I was dilated to 3 cm and 20 % effaced.



Every pregnancy is different even for the same woman. If this is your first, you may take longer than if it were your second or third. Asking other women is moot- it matters not. Not all women dilate before labor begins.

Reply:At 37 weeks, I was 3cm dilated but I stayed that way for several weeks. I did not do anything to try to get that way, although my hubby and I still had sex regularly at that point which can help ripen the cervix. At 37 weeks, you do not want to be trying to induce labor at home because you don't want to cause any problems by having the baby too early. You should wait until at least 38 or 39 weeks because the due date could be off.
